Issue Summary:

On July 24th, 2026, the CyberGrants application was erroring on some requests. This increased error rate was due to a recent deployment that changed some number formatting functions causing some numbers to be formatted incorrectly or produce an error.

Root Cause:

CyberGrants application deploy updated a formatting function that in some edge cases caused errors or incorrect formats.

Prevention:

Short-term: We deployed a hotfix to the code to update the function.
Long-term: We are reviewing automated testing to ensure edge cases are covered.
